The variety is a medium-vigor tree, reaching 4–6 meters in height, with a dense canopy and often drooping young shoots. The fruits are medium-sized, dark red, almost black in color when fully ripe, with intensely colored juice and a highly acidic taste.
The fruits feature very juicy flesh, which is why the variety is not consumed fresh, being used primarily for the production of juices, jams, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages. The plant possesses high adaptability but is sensitive to fungal diseases, in particular, Monilinia.
