The tree belongs to the low-growing or medium-growing group, reaching a height of 2–3 m with a crown diameter of 60–80 cm. The fruits are round or oval, dark red in color, with a mass of 3–4.5 g. The juicy red pulp has a sweet and sour taste, and the medium-sized stone separates easily from the pulp.
The variety enters fruiting in the 2–5th year after planting and is characterized as self-fertile or partially self-fertile. The yield is 12–15 kg per tree; in industrial cultivation, the indicators reach 70–106 c/ha. Ripening periods vary from the end of June to August depending on the region.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness and good resistance to diseases, in particular to Monilinia laxa. The compactness of the tree allows it to be used in dense plantings, and the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, juice production, and freezing.
