The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 2.5–3 meters, and has a rounded spreading crown. It enters fruiting in the 4th year, forming the crop on bouquet branches and growth of the previous year. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness of the wood and medium winter hardiness of the flower buds.
The fruits ripen from July 15 to July 20, have a mass of 4.5–5 g and a wide-rounded shape. The fruit skin is almost black, the flesh is dark red, juicy and firm, with a sweet-and-sour taste. The pit is small and separates well from the flesh.
The variety is partially self-fertile. To increase yield, the varieties Vladimirskaya, Griot Ostgeimskiy, and Shokoladnitsa are recommended as pollinators.
