The variety is the result of crossing the Lotovaya variety and a cherry of unknown origin. The tree is weak-growing, reaching a height of 2.0–2.5 m, and possesses a compact, rounded crown of medium density. The leaves are small, narrow-oval, leathery and glossy.
The fruits have a rounded shape and a mass of 4–4.5 g. The dark red skin is thin and shiny; the flesh is juicy, fibrous, with a small, easily separable pit. The fruits have a sweet and sour taste and low transportability.
The variety enters into fruit-bearing in the 2nd–4th year. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, resistance to Coccomyces hiemalis and Clasterosporium carpophilum, but weak resistance to Monilinia. It is partially self-fertile and is suitable for mechanized harvesting.
