The variety was obtained by crossing (Tschernokorka × BPr 24179) × (Vladimir O-241 × Brysselska Bruna). The plant is low-growing, forming a bush 1.5–2 meters high. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and high resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to Monilinia laxa.
The fruits are of medium size, dark red in color with dark flesh, and ripen in August. The flavor of the fruit is sour with a slight sweetness, and the pedicel detaches easily. The variety is self-fertile, suitable for industrial processing, in particular for juice production, as well as for mechanical harvesting.
