The tree reaches a height of about 4 meters by 15 years of age. The crown is rounded-spreading and dense, with scaffold branches that eventually arch and droop. The variety is self-incompatible.
The fruits, weighing 3–4 g, have a round, slightly flattened shape and a dark red color that transitions to black-red. The flesh is tender, the same color as the skin, with intensely colored juice. The taste of the fruits is sweet-and-sour.
The wood possesses relatively high winter hardiness, although flower buds are prone to freezing. The variety is resistant to fruit rot and fruit cracking, but is susceptible to coccomycosis. The fruit is suitable for universal use.
