The tree is medium-sized, reaching 4 m in height at 15 years of age. The crown is densely foliated, rounded and spreading. Skeletal branches are spreading, prone to becoming bare, with two-to-three-year-old branches being drooping. Leaves are small, matte, ranging from elongated-oval to elongated-obovate.
Fruits are of medium size, weighing 3–3.5 g, rounded, dark red, almost black-red in color. The flesh is tender, and the juice is intensely colored. The stone is small and separates well. The variety is partially self-sterile and begins to bear fruit in the 3rd–4th year. Productivity is high; fruits may drop when overripe.
