Trees are vigorous with an upright habit and high-positioned crown. Fruits are large, weighing 3–5.6 g with a diameter of about 24 mm, having a spherical shape slightly flattened at the stem end. The skin is firm and shiny, with color ranging from reddish to black-brown. The dark flesh of medium density separates well from the pit.
The variety belongs to the group of self-incompatible, requiring the presence of pollinators. Fruits ripen in the third ten-day period of June – early July. The variety is tolerant to Prunus necrotic ringspot virus, but sensitive to Monilinia laxa. Fruits are resistant to cracking and suitable for mechanical harvesting, suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
