Fruits of the Santa Rosa variety have a large size from 60 to 120 g, a rounded shape, and red-violet skin. The flesh is juicy, aromatic, often with a characteristic acidity; the stone is difficult to separate. The variety possesses high disease resistance and good transportability, and is used both fresh and for processing.
