The variety is early, with fruits ripening in the period from July to early August. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor. The fruits have a blue color and externally resemble the M. Hâtif variety. The plant is susceptible to fruit cracking and fruit rot.
The variety is used as a table variety, and is also used in brewing for the preparation of fruit beers, such as lambics. In horticulture, it is used as one of the pollinator varieties for other plums, for example, the Valor variety.
