The variety is late-ripening; harvest maturity of the fruits occurs approximately three weeks after the Conference variety. The fruits are distinguished by their large size, barrel shape, and pronounced red overcolor, and possess the characteristic taste and aroma of a juicy pear.
The variety possesses high keeping quality; when stored in controlled atmosphere conditions, the fruits retain their quality until April. Due to a gradual transition to consumer ripeness, the variety is intended for commercial production and sales during the winter period, starting from December.
