The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth and forms large crowns. The main lateral branches initially grow vertically but deflect downward under the weight of the crop, giving the crown a widely spreading shape reminiscent of an apple tree.

Fruits are medium-sized, pear-shaped, tapering towards the stalk, with a surface that can be slightly angular. The ground color is green, the overcolor is orange-brownish-red. The skin is covered with small light or russet dots with a green rim. The stalk is pronounced, often with a fleshy thickening at the base.

The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a mild acidic taste, but quickly becomes mealy after harvest. The variety is considered industrial and is used for processing, in particular for drying or making mousse.
