The tree is characterized by stocky growth and drooping branches. Harvesting fruits that ripen in mid-to-late October allows them to be stored for several weeks.

The variety has an industrial purpose; the main processing methods include winemaking and drying. At the stage of full maturity, the fruits are also suitable for fresh consumption.

The plant has high susceptibility to fire blight, which can lead to the rapid death of trees after infection.
