The Broklyl (OHF 51) rootstock is a semi-vigorous type of rootstock, exhibiting higher growth vigor than BA 29 quince. It is well compatible with various pear varieties and is distinguished by a high degree of rooting.

The plant possesses high resistance to fire blight, caused by Erwinia amylovora. The rootstock demonstrates good adaptability to various soil conditions, including calcareous soils, and ensures high productivity of trees grafted onto it.
