Trees have moderate vigor and form a narrow or pyramidal crown, reaching 3–4 meters in height. The variety is self-incompatible; Beurre Bosc, Gellert, and Williams varieties are suitable for cross-pollination. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness, including resistance of flowers to spring frosts, as well as moderate or high resistance to diseases, including scab and fire blight.

Fruits are of medium or large size with an asymmetrical pear shape. The greenish-yellow skin at harvest becomes yellow with a red blush upon ripening. The flesh is white or pale cream, buttery, juicy, and sweet, with a subtle spicy aftertaste. The harvest is collected in September; fruits reach consumer maturity in October and are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary processing, and drying.
