CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the group of autumn pears with a ripening period from the end of September to the beginning of October. The tree is medium-sized, with a compact pyramidal or broadly pyramidal crown, the height of which depends on the rootstock and training method. The plant possesses good winter hardiness and high resistance to scab.
The fruits are large, weighing from 160–180 g to 300–450 g, and have an asymmetrical shape. The skin is greenish-yellow, turning yellow upon ripening; a red blush is possible. The flesh is tender cream-colored, juicy, buttery, and sweet in taste with a spicy aftertaste and slight acidity. The variety is self-sterile and requires pollinators such as «Бере Боск», «Вильямс», «Геллерт», «Конференция» or «Дюшес Ангулем».
The fruits are for universal use and are suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing. The variety is suitable for cultivation in private orchards and commercial plantations.
