The variety is a dessert type intended for fresh consumption. The fruits are distinguished by a very sweet taste, while their flesh is characterized as juicy, but having a coarse and granular texture.

Flowering of the plant in the conditions of the UK National Fruit Collection begins around April 18, the full bloom period falls on April 23. The variety is maintained in the collection as a genetic resource available for propagation.
