CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is late-summer or early-autumn; harvesting takes place in mid-September, and the fruits can be stored until the end of October. The fruits themselves are of medium size and possess crunchy and very sweet flesh.
The plant is vigorous, although on dwarfing rootstocks, such as quince, its height can be limited to approximately 2.5 meters. A few years after planting, the tree forms many pendulous branches. The variety is self-pollinating and fast-growing.
Good resistance to fire blight Erwinia amylovora has been noted. The variety is intended for use as a table variety for fresh consumption.
