The tree is characterized by high vigor and an upright crown shape. Flowering occurs in the first week of April; fruit ripening falls in the third ten-day period of July. The variety has above-average productivity and is genetically triploid.
The fruits are very small, with an average weight of about 54.7 g and a circumference of 12.7 cm, and have an elongated pear shape. The skin is smooth, greenish-yellow, with a possible reddish blush. The flesh is white, juicy, granular, with a moderately sweet taste and a hint of acidity.
The variety belongs to the category of ancient local varieties traditionally used for family consumption and grafting onto wild pears. It is currently preserved in regional genetic resource catalogs of Italy.
