CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety is classified as late autumn or winter. The tree is of medium size, possesses vigorous growth, forms a compact crown, and adapts well to various soil types. The variety shows relative resistance to scab, however, it is susceptible to fire blight.
The squat-shaped fruits have a golden-yellow rough skin. The flesh is characterized by juiciness, a buttery consistency, and an intense sweet spicy aroma. The origin of the variety is linked to a Seckel pear seedling; the intended use of the fruits is primarily amateur dessert gardening.
