The tree is characterized by vigorous or moderately vigorous growth and forms a large, often spreading or hemispherical crown. The variety is considered long-lived; the time to onset of bearing depends on growing conditions. The flowers are sensitive to spring frosts; the variety is demanding of warmth and protected sites.

The fruits are large or very large, broadly ovate or truncate-conical in shape. The flesh is yellowish-white, melting, juicy, buttery and aromatic, with a high sugar content. Stony cells may be present near the seed core. The fruits are suitable for transport and storage until November-December.

The level of susceptibility to fire blight and scab is assessed as medium. The variety is intended for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
