The tree of this variety is characterized by vigorous growth and an upright crown shape that does not require complex formative pruning. It is considered relatively undemanding regarding soil conditions, but it is triploid; therefore, regular rejuvenation is recommended after entering the phase of full fruiting.
The fruits are medium-large or large in size and have a characteristic keg-shaped form with a thickened belly. Upon ripening, the skin turns yellow and is often covered with a russet pattern or dots. Under favorable conditions, the flesh becomes semi-melting and juicy, with a wine-sweet taste and aroma, but under unfavorable conditions, it may acquire a coarse texture.
The variety is classified as an autumn variety and is intended for fresh consumption. During cultivation, a tendency for fruits to drop in the wind is observed, and the tree itself shows susceptibility to scab and fire blight.
