CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
Fruits of the variety are characterized by a fairly large size and a blunt, pear-shaped to spherical form. The surface is covered with dense, rough, and wrinkled skin of green color, which turns yellow upon ripening and often acquires a dull red blush.
The greenish flesh of the fruits is distinguished by a fine texture, high juiciness, and sweet aroma. The variety shows good compatibility with quince rootstock and is resistant to scab; in modern literature, it is classified as an heirloom.
The variety is intended for dessert consumption and ripens in the period from September to October.
