The fruits of the variety are medium to large in size, with skin color ranging from green to greenish-yellow, sometimes with russeting. The flesh is buttery, juicy, and aromatic, with a slight acidity; granulation may be present in the center. Harvesting is carried out in October; the fruits require ripening and store until January.
The tree can reach a height of 2.5 to 8 meters depending on the rootstock and has a tendency to form a spreading crown. The variety is demanding of heat and is well-suited for regions with warm summers, while serving as an effective pollinator for other pear varieties.
