The variety is a winter type and belongs to the processing group: the fruits are not consumed fresh but are used for preparing compotes and jams. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth, reaching a height of over 10 meters, and a tendency toward alternate bearing.
Flowering is mid-late; the flowers are large, up to 5 cm in diameter, with a pinkish hue. The variety is considered a good pollinator. The fruits are very large, obtuse-conical in shape, with thick, coarse skin that is golden-yellow, sometimes with a blush, and has a long shelf life.
The variety is characterized by susceptibility to scab and fire blight.
