The tree is vigorous in youth, slowing its growth with age, forming a medium-sized crown. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and late flowering, which reduces the risk of damage by spring frosts. The tree bears fruit abundantly, but often with biennial bearing. It is self-infertile and requires pollinator varieties.
Fruits are large or very large, wide-conical or rounded in shape. The skin is thick, yellowish-green with a reddish blush and russet dots. The flesh is firm, astringent, and unsweet when raw. Harvesting takes place in mid-October, consumer maturity begins from November, and keeping quality is maintained until spring.
The variety is intended for the preparation of compotes, jams, desserts, baking, and drying. During culinary processing, the flesh becomes aromatic and acquires a pink or salmon-red hue.
