The variety matures in late August. The fruits have a round-conical or pear-shaped form and yellowish-green skin, almost entirely covered with a brownish or grayish russet. The fruit flesh is white or slightly greenish, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a spicy note.

The tree can be grown as an espalier or as a high-stem tree. The variety possesses resistance to cold and scab. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing. Currently, the variety is found primarily in collections of ancient and rare species.
