Variety description

The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of 4–6 meters, and has a robust crown with dense, stiff branching. The variety enters fruiting at mid-late intervals, yielding a regular and abundant harvest. It is partially self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinator varieties for pollination, such as Williams, Clapp's Favorite, or Beurre Bosc.

The fruits, weighing 140–200 g, have an ovate-rounded or truncate-conical shape. The firm skin is colored yellowish-gray or yellowish-brown and is often covered with russeting. The greenish-white flesh is characterized by high juiciness, tender texture, spicy aroma, and a sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety belongs to the autumn maturity group, with harvest taking place in late August — September. The crop is demanding of soils and requires wind-protected locations; it tolerates dry sandy soils poorly. It is relatively resistant to diseases but susceptible to fire blight.
