The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of 8 meters. The young crown has a distinct cone shape, becoming more spreading with age. The variety is not self-fertile and requires pollinator varieties such as Williams, Clapp's Favorite, or Bosc.
The fruits are medium-large with a weight of 180–220 g, wide-pear-shaped, often angular and ribbed at the calyx. The skin is straw-yellow, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is white, juicy, melting, with characteristic granulations around the seed nest and a sweet taste with slight acidity.
Winter variety: harvesting is carried out in late September — early October, consumption is possible from December to March. The variety is very susceptible to fire blight and scab, prone to biennial bearing, and the fruits are sensitive to mechanical damage.
