The tree is vigorous, reaching 4–4.5 meters in height, and forms a broad-pyramidal canopy of medium density with a large number of short fruit spurs. The variety is suitable for training as an espalier.
The fruits have a broad-pyriform, uneven shape; the skin is smooth and changes color from green to light yellow upon ripening. The flesh is characterized by a buttery, juicy, melting texture and a sweet taste with a slight acidity.
The variety is a winter type: harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in late September — October, and consumer maturity is from November to January. At a temperature of 3–5°C, the fruits can be stored for up to 4 months. The plant is demanding regarding growing conditions, needs warmth and humus-rich soils, and is sensitive to rust fungus.
