10 August 2026
The tree is vigorous, reaching a height of up to 8 meters, and forms a broadly pyramidal or broadly globular crown. The variety is long-lived, but is demanding regarding soil fertility and requires warm growing sites (up to 350 meters above sea level).
The fruits have an ovate or pear shape, and their mass varies from average (200–300 g) to very large. The flesh is white, juicy, and buttery, possessing a specific wine-like or spicy taste and a pleasant aroma. The fruits are used fresh, for drying, and for the production of compotes and distillates.
It belongs to autumn varieties: harvesting takes place in the second half of September, and the consumption period lasts until October. It is characterized by high susceptibility to scab and a tendency to be affected by fungal diseases.
