The tree is of medium height with a crown that has a tendency for upright branch orientation. The variety shows good yield and winter hardiness, comparable to the Bartlett variety. With abundant fruiting, the tree is prone to overloading, so thinning of the ovaries is recommended to maintain fruit size.
The fruit has a pear shape, yellow skin with a light uneven blush, and occasional russeting. The flesh is white, juicy, buttery, with a low content of stone cells, and possesses a sweet taste and fruity aroma. The variety is susceptible to fire blight and scab.
The variety is classified as a winter variety; fruit ripening occurs in late September. Consumption is possible from late November to early March. The fruit tolerates cold storage well for 1–3 months and ripens easily at room temperature. Intended for fresh consumption and processing.
