Fruits of this variety are harvested at the end of September; the consumption period falls in October – early November. They are of medium size, the shape varies from bottle-shaped to elongated-conical, and the surface is often uneven and knobby. The fruit color is greenish-yellow; a reddish-brown blush may appear on the sunny side.

The flesh is described as semi-fine, very crisp, and juicy, possessing a pleasant sweet taste with a slight acidity and a faint aroma. The fruits are used as a dessert variety and for home cooking. The tree in its young age is characterized by vigorous growth; the crown is not very wide until it reaches a considerable age.

The variety is considered healthy, winter-hardy, enters into fruiting early, and is distinguished by good, regular yields.
