Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is characterized by vigorous growth. Fruits are large or very large, asymmetrical, and often knobby in shape. The skin is smooth to rough, dull grass-green in color with gray or brown dots and patches of russeting. The flesh of the fruits is juicy or very juicy.

The variety is classified as an autumn variety: harvest maturity occurs in September–October, and consumer maturity in October–November. The tree is hardy, enters fruiting early, and provides high and regular yields, sometimes requiring fruit thinning. It is prone to scab infection in high humidity conditions.

The taste varies from mildly sweet-and-sour to bland and watery, which is why the variety is classified as a utility type, suitable for processing into juices, compotes, and drying, although in warm regions it can be used as a table variety.
