The tree is medium-sized, forming a pyramidal spreading crown of moderate density. Fruits weighing 180–300 g (some up to 600–800 g) have a pear-shaped or ovoid-elongated shape. The skin is green at harvest, becoming pale yellow upon ripening, often with a diffused blush. The flesh is light cream, juicy, tender, buttery, with a sweet and sour taste.
Harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in late September — early October, consumer maturity — from November–December. The variety is precocious: on quince rootstock, fruiting begins in the 3rd–4th year, on seedling rootstock — in the 6th–8th year. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, resistance to scab and fire blight. The variety is self-infertile and requires pollinators.
