The Nova variety, also known by the breeding number AMD-41-22-15, belongs to summer or late-summer varieties with a ripening period in the second half or end of August. Trees are characterized by vigorous growth and an upright crown shape.
Medium-sized yellow fruits with a pink blush have sweet melting flesh and are not suitable for long-term storage, therefore they are recommended for consumption immediately after harvest. The variety is distinguished by high yield, good winter hardiness, and disease resistance, however, it is prone to alternate bearing.
