The Moldovan variety is a winter one, characterized by a medium-sized tree and large fruits. The variety possesses good keeping quality, transportability, and is compatible with quince rootstocks.
The Far Eastern variety is an early autumn one, obtained by crossing Pyrus ussuriensis with the variety Dekanka zimniaia. The variety is winter-hardy, has relatively small fruits weighing up to 65 g, and shows resistance to scab and fungal diseases.
