The variety originated as a chance seedling and is characterized by a pyramidal crown and medium vigor, reaching a height of 2 to 6 meters. The plant has winter hardiness down to -30°C, however, in adverse conditions, it can show susceptibility to scab and shoot scab. Fruits are prone to dropping during bad weather in October.

Fruits are medium to large in size, conical in shape, yellow-green in color with a red blush and brown spots. The flesh is firm, juicy, and melting, with a spicy, moderately sweet taste. The harvest period falls in the second half of October; consumer maturity occurs from November to February. The variety is suitable for long-term storage.

The variety is a dessert type, also used for canning, juices, and compotes. To obtain a stable yield, cross-pollination with such varieties as Williams, Conference, or Alexander Lucas is required.
