The tree has moderate growth vigor, forms an upright spreading crown, and bears fruit on spurs. The fruits are large, oval-pyriform in shape with an uneven surface. The skin is greenish-yellow, often with a reddish-brown blush and pronounced russeting. The flesh is greenish-white, fine-grained, juicy and melting, with a rich sweet taste.

Harvest maturity occurs in October; the fruits are ready for consumption in November and require ripening. The variety is self-sterile, and pollinators are necessary for yield. The tree is resistant to scab but susceptible to a number of viral diseases, including apple mosaic and blister bark canker. Due to high yields, the branches are prone to heavy sagging, which requires the installation of supports.
