The tree is medium-sized, forming a pyramidal spreading crown. The variety is precocious: it enters fruiting from the 3rd year on quince rootstock, and from the 4th–5th year on Pyrus communis rootstock. The plant is highly compatible with quince.
Fruits are large or very large, weighing 200–350 g, sometimes up to 500–700 g. The shape is ovate-elongated, the skin at harvest is light green, turning pale yellow upon ripening, often with a pink or burgundy blush. The flesh is white, juicy, buttery, without granulations, and has a sweet-and-sour taste.
Harvest maturity occurs in the first ten days of October, consumer maturity in early December. The fruits are distinguished by high keeping quality: they store until January under normal conditions, and until April in a refrigerator. The variety possesses high resistance to scab and fire blight; susceptibility to fruit tree canker is low or moderate.
