Nojabrskaja pear (also known as Nojabrskaja Moldavii or Xenia) is a variety of European breeding. The tree is medium-sized, with a pyramidal spreading crown. The fruits are large, weighing 180–250 g (up to 500–600 g), pear-shaped, with a firm pale yellow skin and a slight blush. The flesh is juicy, tender, buttery. Harvest maturity occurs in late September — early October, consumer maturity in November–December. The variety has high resistance to scab and is suitable for long-term storage.
The Far Eastern Nojabrskaja pear is a variety oriented towards northern regions. The vigorous tree has an orbicular-pyramidal crown. The fruits are small, weighing 60–70 g, egg-shaped and ribbed. The skin is greenish-yellow with a burgundy blush. The flesh is white, juicy, slightly buttery, with a sweet-and-sour taste. Fruit ripening occurs in late September. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness and is suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
