Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is vigorous, voluminous, and long-lived, showing sensitivity to low temperatures at a young age. The variety is considered old, likely of Italian origin, with the first descriptions dating back to the beginning of the 19th century.

The fruits have a pear-shaped or elongated-conical shape of medium size. The skin is golden-yellow; upon ripening in the sun, a reddish-orange blush and dots appear. The flesh is white, juicy, semi-compact, and buttery, with a taste characterized by slight acidity and astringency.

The variety possesses high resistance to fungal diseases and pests. It enters fruiting regularly, and with age, yields become abundant, although biennial bearing may occur.
