CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and can reach 4–8 meters in height, forming an upright or spreading crown. The variety is a late-summer or autumn ripening type; the harvest period falls in late September – October.
The fruits have a pale yellow color, sometimes with slight russeting, and can weigh over 300–340 grams. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, melting, with a pleasant flavor. The trees adapt well to various soil types provided there is good drainage.
Due to vigorous growth, the variety requires regular training, including the use of espaliers or cordons. Because of self-sterility, the presence of pollinator varieties blooming at similar times is necessary to obtain fruits.
