The variety was obtained by crossing the hybrid (Oleksandrivka × Doyenné du Comice) × Beurré Bosc. The tree is vigorous; in its young age, the crown is pyramidal, and during the fruiting period, it is broad-pyramidal with drooping branches. It enters the fruiting stage on a seedling rootstock in the 4–5th year. The variety is partially self-fertile; when using a quince rootstock, an intercalary graft may be required.
Harvest maturity occurs in late September to early October; the consumption period lasts from late October to November. The fruits have a dry, slightly rough skin with a diffuse blush. When stored in a refrigerator, the fruits maintain their quality until the end of December.
The variety is characterized by high yield, winter hardiness, and resistance to scab and white leaf spot. The fruits possess good transportability and are recommended for industrial and amateur gardening.
