Fruits of the Pleiner Mostbirne variety ripen from the end of September to mid-October. They have an average weight of 60 to 110 grams and are predominantly high-conical, sometimes asymmetrical in shape. Upon ripening, the skin changes color from dull green to lemon-yellow, sometimes with a diffuse orange blush and numerous brown dots.

The fruits are characterized by a smooth surface, become very soft when ripe, and have low resistance to pressure, which results in their poor keeping quality. Due to the specific properties of the flesh, the variety is used exclusively for processing into cider and juice, and not for fresh consumption.
