CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
This variety is traditional for the Lucca province and is preserved as part of Italy's regional biodiversity. Harvesting is carried out from the end of August to the beginning of September, with fruits suitable for consumption a few days after picking.
The pears are characterized by a sweet, aromatic taste and juicy flesh. The fruits possess good keeping quality: without special equipment, they store for 3–4 weeks, and in a refrigerator — for up to several months. The variety is consumed fresh, and also used for preparing culinary dishes and distillates.
