The rootstock was obtained through selective breeding of phytoplasma-resistant forms. The main feature of the object is its proven resistance to pear decline caused by the phytoplasma Candidatus Phytoplasma pyri. The rootstock is compatible with all tested pear varieties, does not produce root suckers, and does not cause chlorosis related to soil pH levels.

The plant is characterized by vigorous growth, amounting to about 90% of the growth vigor of the Kirchensaller Mostbirne seedling, and a developed root system. The rootstock has good winter hardiness, is adapted to dry and sandy sites, and is also resistant to high lime content in the soil.

Due to difficulties with propagation by cuttings or layering, the in vitro micropropagation method is used for mass production of planting material.
