The variety 'Hachcher', known under the trade name 'Cherry Kiss', is the result of crossing 'Aeschbacher's Rubin' and 'Busuki'. This is an evergreen shrub with leathery, elliptical leaves of a dark green color. The bush is dense, upright, with a characteristic broad habit.
The funnel-shaped flowers are dark red in color, almost black at the buds, with a contrasting dark mark inside and creamy-white anthers. The inflorescences are dense and rounded in shape. Flowering occurs in May–June. After 10 years, the plant reaches a height of 90 to 140 cm.
The variety prefers partial shade and acidic, well-drained soils. Frost resistance is up to -24 °C. The plant is used in landscape design for solitary or group plantings.
