The plant is an upright, dense, and fast-growing shrub with a regular rounded crown shape. The leaves are simple, dark green, glossy, and reach 12–15 cm in length. A mature bush reaches a height of 1.5–2 meters.
Funnel-shaped flowers of a pink or mauve-pink color have wavy edges and dark spots on the upper petals. They are collected in lush inflorescences of 17–20 pieces. Flowering lasts about 2–3 weeks in May-June.
The variety has high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -32°C...-36°C, and good disease resistance. Planting in shade or partial shade is recommended for protection against the spring sun. It is used in landscape design for solitary and group plantings, and the creation of hedges.
