The variety is a shrub-like plant of rounded shape, 2.5–2.7 m in height and 2–2.3 m in width. The leaves are oblong-elliptical, 145 mm long and 35 mm wide.
White funnel-shaped flowers with a width and depth of about 80 mm are gathered in cone-shaped inflorescences of 9–11 units. Flowering is abundant and occurs in June.
The plant is adapted to the northern climate and prefers humus-rich, loose, acidic soils in full sun.
